St. Patrick’s Day
Saint Patrick’s Day, or the Feast of Saint Patrick is a cultural and religious celebration occurring annually on 17 March, the death date of the most commonly recognized patron saint of Ireland. The significance of this celebration in modern times goes beyond commemorating Saint Patrick and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland: it is being internationally thought of as celebrating the heritage and culture of the Irish in general.
Every year since its establishment more than two decades ago, the Dubliner Irish Pub has made St Patrick’s Day a special occasion for its customers.
This year our St Patrick’s celebrations will involve the hosting on the evening of 17 March of a live concert, to be performed by the Sorted Session – a traditional Irish music group; throughout the day we shall be offering a third pint free of charge for every two pints ordered, as well as many other gifts courtesy of Guinness.
